WHY SHOULD WE CARE?

Is it safe to drink tap water?

Tap water may not be as clean as it seems. In addition to chlorine, it can contain heavy metals such as magnesium, calcium, copper, lead, and arsenic, as well as various other pollutants. These contaminants often result from human activities, like agricultural pesticide runoff, industrial chemical spills, urban sewage discharge, and the deterioration of aging infrastructure. What happens to the water when I use your filter?

When you use the Geyser filter, your water goes through three key stages of purification:

  1. Mechanical Filtration: This stage removes larger particles like sediment and rust, eliminating visible impurities.
  2. Absorption: Activated charcoal in this stage removes chlorine, certain chemicals, and odors, enhancing the taste of the water.
  3. Ion Exchange: This final step softens the water, prevents limescale buildup, and further improves the taste.

I've heard about ‘hard water’ and ‘soft water’. What's the difference?

Hard water is rich in minerals like calcium and magnesium, which can give it a distinctive taste and lead to mineral deposits in kettles and water heaters. Soft water, on the other hand, has these minerals removed, which makes it taste smoother and prevents scale buildup in your plumbing. While both are safe to drink, soft water is often preferred for everyday use because it's easier on appliances and can enhance the flavor of tea and coffee.

HOW DOES THIS WORK?

How do you filter out the chemicals? Is this like a Brita?

The Geyser with ARAGON® cartridge is a unique product. Unlike Brita and other filters, it features a multi-stage filtration system. The ARAGON® filter purifies water through mechanical filtration, absorption, and ion exchange. This ensures the quality and efficiency of our filter, making the water safe and pure while preserving beneficial substances.

Will tap filter affect my water pressure?

No, the Geyser EURO will not affect your water pressure. We have designed two modes: one for filtering and one for non-filtering. When you need strong water pressure, switch to the non-filtering mode. When you want clean water, simply switch to the filtration mode.

What's in the filter?

Inside the filter, you will find a cartridge made of Aragonite, crafted from an innovative combination of advanced materials. Why doesn’t the TDS value decrease after filtering?

TDS meters measure electrical conductivity, not water hardness. Conductivity is influenced by all dissolved impurities and temperature, while hardness is mainly determined by calcium ions. Our cartridge softens water and removes scale through ion exchange, altering the water's ion composition. This process retains beneficial elements like calcium and magnesium, which can increase water conductivity. As a result, the TDS meter may show similar readings before and after filtration.

How often should I replace the Geyser EURO cartridge?

The Geyser EURO filter cartridge should be replaced every 3,000 liters of water, or approximately every four months with regular use. However, the lifespan of the cartridge can vary depending on your water quality. Signs that it may be time to replace the cartridge sooner include a decrease in water flow and a change in the taste or odor of the filtered water.

What is the filter capacity in liters per minute?

Geyser EURO can filter 0.5 liters of water per minute.

HOW TO INSTALL?

How does the installation work?

You don't have to worry about installation! Just unscrew the aerator from your faucet and screw in the Geyser EURO filter instead. For more information on the installation process, please refer to the instruction.

How does the 100% faucet fit guarantee work?

Geyser EURO is not suitable for faucets such as: spray, pull-out, waterfall or irregularly shaped faucets.

Can I install filter by myself or do i need to hire a plumber?

How often will I receive a new cartridge?

You will automatically receive cartridges every 4 months.

Can I pause or cancel a subscription?

Are your filters recyclable?

The materials we use to create the consumable part of the product (the cartridge) are primarily of natural origin and biodegradable; however, they are not processed as such in compost facilities.

Will tax be charged to my order?

If you order from Europe or the UK, we will not charge any additional tax.For orders within the United States, Geyser is required to collect sales tax in accordance with local government regulations.
