Step 1

Remove The Aerator

Remove the aerator, the small device attached to the faucet’s spout that regulates water flow and prevents splashing. You can do this manually or with the assistance of tools.

Step 2

Insert The Rubber O-ring

Locate the diverter valve on the filter and insert the rubber O-ring from the kit into it.

Step 3

Identify The Thread Type

  • External Threads

    If the faucet has external threads, screw the filter directly onto the threads.

  • Internal Threads

    If the faucet has internal threads, first install the adapter from the kit, and then attach the filter. Ensure that you retain the old O-ring.

Step 4

Run Water For 3 Minutes

Run water in filtration mode for 3 minutes before first use. Do not use water above 100°F/38°C.

IKEA Faucet

Take several photos of your faucet from different angles and send them to support@geyserfilters.com along with your shipping address and name.

Non-Ikea Faucet

Unscrew the aerator. For external threading, measure the faucet’s thread by placing the caliper's wider parts directly on it. For internal threading, measure the aerator's thread in the same way. Send photos of the measurements along with photos of your faucet, shipping address, and name to support@geyserfilters.com.

  • Step 1

    Twist off the filter base and remove the expired filter.

  • Step 2

    Take out the old filter and press the new filter into the filter base.

  • Step 3

    Twist the filter base with the filter top cover.

  • Step 4

    Switch the lever to the level position and flush for 3 minutes.
